Jim Marrs – 2002-12-28

Look! Up in the sky…it’s a bird…it’s a plane…no, it’s one of those pesky UFOs. UFOs have been reported in the earliest writings of humankind and today their presence is everywhere. UFOs and aliens are depicted on in books, films, TV programming, comics, bumper stickers, even in major advertising. So what’s the deal? If they are all hoaxes or misinterpretation of events, why is the concept of UFOs pervading our culture? The answer is that there is an amazing reality behind the reports of flying craft, their crews, crop circles, animal mutilations and human abductions. But what is that reality and what does it mean for us? These answers will be sought in a unique university class beginning in February at the University of Texas at Arlington. Jim Marrs, author of Alien Agenda, the highest-selling non-fiction UFO overview of the subject in the world, will head a class on UFO Investigations.

UFO Investigations will be conducted every Tuesday night for six weeks beginning on Feb. 11, 2003. It will run from 7 p.m. til 9 p.m. in Room 002 of University Hall on the campus of the University of Texas at Arlington.

For further information or to register, contact UTA’s Office of Continuing Education by email or call 817-272-2581. Their office will be open after Jan. 2, 2003.
