They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so check out the comparisons of this Libyan street scene between 2007 and today, after the American-led coalition (us and the UK mostly) sent bombs, missiles and arms to “help” the Libyan people. Gaddafi may have been an iron-fisted dictator but then he raised the Libyan literacy rate, was providing interest-free loans to his people and was in the process of building a coalition of African nations to create a gold-backed currency to rival the dollar. And never mind the foreign designs on his oil and water. Now we learn that the people we backed shot Moammar Gaddafi in the head after wounding him, sort of like our shooting Osama bin Laden in the head. Does no one wonder why we shoot perceived enemies in the head instead of bringing them to trial to prove their misdeeds and show the world that we support law and justice? Yep, America is number one…and if you don’t think so, we’ll send in the mercenaries and shoot you too.
